Who are you dealing with at Guest New Zealand.

At Guest New Zealand you’ll talk to a local New Zealand travel expert, actually living and breathing ‘Aotearoa’. We have personally visited and stayed in the accommodations we recommend. Also, we have first-hand experience of the many tour and transport options. This factor alone, provides the point of difference to other travel companies. We stand by our recommendations!

Background on Michael Nees

Michael Nees is the Company Director of Guest NZ. He began his working career as a Police Officer in Frankfurt, Germany. After leaving Germany in 1986 for a holiday in New Zealand, he travelled throughout the North and South Islands by foot, bicycle and car.  Of course, he fell in love with the natural beauty of the country and never left! Between 1988 and 1997 Michael worked as a tour guide in New Zealand and Nepal. During this time he gathered a deep knowledge and experience. This became the foundation to move forward with the GUEST travel service.

Boutique travel in small numbers

Michael found a niche market in boutique travel with small group tours and special accommodation away from the generic hotel brands. He has established a unique combination of smart integrated technology with personalized service and contact with his customers. See how Guest NZ works.

The focus for Michael and his company is for travellers to experience an authentic and unforgettable holiday in beautiful New Zealand. Review locations. To this day we personally visit and inspect accommodation and tour options. Then we are able to recommend them to our guests.
